Caden Lane Davidson is HERE!!

Hard to believe nearly 40 weeks of pregnancy has gone by and our little miracle is here! July 21, 2009 was the single most beautiful day of our life! As we became more than Valerie and David, we became PARENTS! After having to be at the hospital at 5:45 Tuesday morning, Caden made his arrival at 8:10 a.m. It was the most beautiful sound hearing him cry for the first time! And I must say we are very blessed! I always thought I knew what it was like to have a blessed life until the day God gave us Caden! I now know the true meaning of BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE! He is the sweetest little boy! At birth he was 7 lbs 4 oz and 19 & 1/4 inches long! When David brought him around so I could see him I fell in love all over again! Thanks to everyone who was there for us and has been there for us! We love yall so much and we are so blessed to have yall in our lives! Here are some pics of our little miracle!! Thank you Lord for we are truly BLESSED!

39 weeks 1 day!

Sunday July 19, 2009 we went to church and after we had lunch at McAllister's with David's parents & Angie, Brandon, Veronica, and Kinlee. With Caden's arrival only 2 days away, we wanted just a few more pregnancy pics. We took some after church outside and at the Arboretum. We are anxiously waiting the arrival of our son! Here are the pictures from that beautiful Sunday afternoon!

38 weeks and counting!

Another week, another Doctor's visit! I am 38 weeks & 3 days preggo! David and I went to see Dr. Wang today. We have exactly 1 week until C-section day! It is getting so close. Again I was not open or dilated, and she said Caden is still growing! His heartbeat was 136! I love to hear it! We can not wait for our little man to arrive! Although I have to admit I am a little scared about surgery, but I know it will be well worth it! We still have a few things to do this weekend, and my last day to work is Wednesday night! Then I'm off until September! Dr. Wang said I will probably spend 2 nights in the hospital and get to come home on Thursday! We are praying all goes well. Please keep us in your prayers!

37 Week Doctors Appointment!

Today we went back into Dr. Wang's office for our check up. I'm 37 weeks and 4 days along! Only 13 more days until C-section time and Caden's arrival! She said that by delivery day he will be around 8 pounds! A BIG BOY! His heartbeat today was 134 and sounded strong! I was closed and not dilated. We go back next Tuesday the 14th and then the following week is C-section time! It is getting so close. We are preparing for his arrival although most everything is done, we have a few odds and ends to tie together. I'm super excited and scared all at the same time! I can't wait to be a Mommy! During the C-section, David of course will be in the room with me, Veronica will be there, Mimi will be driving in from Dumas the weekend before, and Dad, David's parents, Aunt Angie, Uncle Frankie and Aunt Liza all live in town so they will be here also. Aunt Neta is coming for a visit the beginning of August. Caden is a very blessed boy! As are David and I for having such wonderful families.

4th of JULY!!

For the 4th of July we went to Speegleville Elementary for a little carnival and Fireworks! The kids had a lot fun at the carnival! They played ring toss and won several 2 liter drinks, played on inflatables, did a cake walk and got tattoos. It was very HOT! Once the sun went down the fireworks started and it was a good show! Then we headed back to the house to pop our own fireworks. The kids enjoyed the entire day and we had a lot of fun minus the heat! We are very thankful for our Independence! 2 WEEKS left!

Well in 2 weeks from today David and I will have a little boy!! The c-section is planned for July 21, 2009 @ 7:30. We have to be there at 6. That is going to be a very long, VERY BLESSED day! We can hardly wait! So much to do in 2 weeks! AHHH!! The nursery is already complete, we just need to pack our hospital bag and clean out our cars and a few other odd and end things. We go back to the doctor tomorrow for this weeks visit. I'll keep you posted, keep us in your prayers that everything goes smoothly with the c-section!

Late post!

Father's Day!!

Just a late little note about Father's day. The Friday before Father's Day Veronica, David and I took my Dad to eat at Roadhouse! We had a good dinner and since dad wasn't feeling well we just came home. On Father's Day we had lunch at David's parent's house. It was a great day for everyone! Here are a few pictures of David and I and Caden of course. In these pictures I was 35 weeks and 1 day along!

Diaper Round Up!

Yesterday David's work through him a Diaper Round-Up shower! We got a lot of packages of diapers plus some other essentials. Like a 'His Clean'n Gear Bucket' for changing the baby. Complete with rubber gloves, tongs, a clothes pin for the nose, and a scrubber! lol it was cute! We also got a gift card, some sleepers, wash clothes, and a few other things! Thanks to everyone who participated in it! We are very grateful to everyone! Caden's closet is now pretty full of diapers! Here are just a few pictures. Thanks again everyone! We are so blessed!

36 Week Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday 7/1/09 David and I went to the doctor for our '36 week' check-up! All went well! Caden is growing and his heartbeat was 145 beats a minute! Sounded good and strong to me! I was not dilated at all and she wasn't surprised. 23 more days until he is due! I am so excited! We are going forward with the c-section. She said she will schedule it and we should know by Monday or Tuesday when we are scheduled for. Our next appointment is Wednesday, July 8, 2009. We go every week now so I will keep yall posted!

35 Weeks!

Today I am 35 weeks! Hard to believe that in a little over a month we will get to meet our little man! I am so excited! Today David and I went and picked up some more of the stuff we registered for. We still have stuff to get but it's a work in progress. Yesterday we had a check-up with Dr. Wang, she let me know that I will probably have to have a c-section. She said Caden is about 5 to 51/2 pounds and growing appropriately. My Glucose has been high this week, but she isn't worried about it as of now since my tolerance test results were normal. We go back on the 1st for our next visit, I'll keep you all posted!

33 weeks

June 5th David and I went to the doctor for our 33 week check up! Dr. Wang said things look great! Caden's little heart beat was 163. I love to hear it! We are so proud to be given this gift! God has truly blessed David and I! We go back to the doctor on June 19th. We are also currently looking for a Pediatrician! We meet with one on the 16th and I am super excited! I know several of them and I am certain we will choose a great one for Caden! I can't wait to meet this little boy! Ahhh! 44 more days....give or take! Lot's to do in the mean time!
