4 month check up

Caden had his 4 month check up today! He is growing like a weed! I'm so afraid to close my eyes for fear of him doing something cute that I will miss! He was quite the little trooper getting his shots! Here are some things about our Bug this month!

• He is 15 pounds 11 ounces
• 26 inches long
• His eyes are still baby blue! (my guess is they are NOT changing)
• Tonight he rolled over for the first time (tummy to back)
• He laughs out LOUD!
• He plays constantly with his hands
• He has discovered his ears
• He is still breast milk fed (also taking white grape and apple juice)
• He smiles so bright he warms my heart! I truly see God's LOVE in his smile!
• He is learning new "words" in his language
• I am almost certain he is teething!
• Everything goes straight to the mouth!
• He is the BIGGEST Blessing thus far!!

4 months old!

Happy 4 months Caden Lane! Another month has gone by! It seems to be going by super fast! He is getting so big! He LOVES to play with his hands and chew on them! A few days ago he started sticking out his tongue! It is the cutest thing! We are so blessed to have him in our life! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift! We go to the doctor on Monday so I will post stats then, but here are some pics of my bug until then!

Kinlee and Caden!

Today Stephanie, Kurtis and Addi came over for dinner and to play! Addi and Kinlee had a good time until Kinlee fell asleep on her! We ate tacos and watched Twilight and to my surprise I really enjoyed it! Next week New Moon! Here are the girls playing!

Play Date

Stephanie and Addison came over last Thursday afternoon for a play date! We had such a good time! We went to lunch, did a little shopping and Addi played with Caden! Can't wait until next time!

Johnny jump up!

Last night daddy put together Caden's Johnny jump up! He is such a sweet boy! He is sure growing fast! Sometimes it's hard to fathom loving him more than I do right now but each day I find myself loving him more and more! We are truly blessed by him each day! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift!

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.

Fall Carnival

Last Sunday we went to church with David's parents at FBC Hewitt. Afterwards we stayed for lunch in the friendship hall and a Fall Carnival! Bailee and Kinlee came with us and they had a great time! Thanks to Granpa and Granny for a good time!

Kick Start Gym

We got Caden a kick start gym about 2 weeks ago. He is constantly kicking his feet so we thought this was a perfect toy! He loves it! Here are some pics of David and Caden putting it together!

Yesterday David and I had our engagement photos taken by Stephanie Gerath, owner of Once Upon a Time Photography! I love her work! She did Caden's fall pics and will do our Christmas pics in 2 weeks. She is wonderful! She is so easy to get along with and will do whatever it takes to get the shot! We spent all morning and afternoon together getting some great shots! Happy Halloween!!

Festive dressing! Caden got lots of cute Halloween clothes so we had to start dressing him festive this week! I must say he is such a cutie! We are enjoying everyday with him! God truly blessed us with this little boy! He is starting to laugh out loud! His giggle is the sweetest! It melts my heart! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

We're going to the Chapel...

...And we're gunna get married!! Yup David and I have been engaged since January 1, 2009!! We had set a date for May 1, 2010. And since finding out we were pregnant we decided to keep that date since it would be about 10 months after Caden's birth. So it is etched in stone! We have the Church reserved thanks to our wonderful Pastors, Steve and Cindy Abbe! We love yall!! We have the reception place booked as well! Thanks to my wonderful daddy!! I love you dad! What a gift! So lots of planning to do since we just got started this past Sunday! Ekkk! I need all the help I can get!! Which everyone has offered tons of help like my sisters, mom, David's parents, my besties Amanda and Casie Jo! Keep all the ideas coming everyone! I ordered some turquoise..(one of my colors) or aqua colored glass pieces that came in yesterday which will be used as decoration, as well as a high heel cake server for the 2nd cake! I loved the picture and the actual item is growing on me! I have had lots of ideas on other things, so stay tuned and I will share it all with a complete list of wedding party and all!

3 months old!

Ahhhh! Yesterday Caden turned 3 months old! It's so hard to believe, the time has gone by so fast! It was a rainy and cold day so after his bath we just put him in another jammie! So we hardly got any pics of him yesterday. These are him laying on Aunt Verns lap being OH SO CUTE! We just love him to pieces!

Today I put him in a cute little outfit I got him that I knew daddy would love! When I laid him in his bed he was unhappy...guess I should have fed him first before I tried to take his picture!

He didn't cry for very long! The little faker!
