Caden's Corner: May 2009

My baby shower was May 9th the day before Mothers Day and it was a great time! Sorry I've been so slow at getting the pictures up! And here is picture OVERLOAD! lol We really enjoyed ourselves! Caden got lots of gifts! He is definitely very loved and blessed as are David and I for having such wonderful family and friends. We had tons of good food, family, friends, and fellowship! We played games from the toilet paper around the belly game to actually tasting baby food! Vanessa and Brooklyn even surprised us about 40 minutes into the shower when they arrived from Reno!! It was one of the best gifts ever! My mother also made me a very special gift, she made Caden a blanket and little pillow out of my Nana's old pajamas. It was very bittersweet, I miss my grandparents every day and I feel truly blessed to have had them in my life! Mom wrote a poem to go along with it which I will post later and put it in a frame along with a picture of me and my grandparents at graduation and a letter to Caden. I will treasure it always! We have also been getting several gifts since the shower from all those who couldn't attend. Thank you everyone! We are a little late at getting thank you cards out, but I promise they are coming! Again, thanks to everyone who made that day so special for me, David, and Caden! We are truly blessed and loved!
