Late Late Late

I am so behind in posting!! My laptop got broken this passed weekend after Brooklyn's birthday party....so posting will be a work in progress, just bear with me. I have a few posts that I have started but need to finish and publish and I will do that as soon as possible.

In Caden news, we started him on rice cereal tonight before bed. Hopefully he will do well! It's been for hours and he is sleeping like a little angel! Post more soon!

Happy Birthday B'lyn!

On December 12, 2009, My niece Brooklyn turned 1 year old! She was sooo adorable and we had a blast! It is so hard to believe she is already ONE! Vanessa threw her a Bumble Bee Birthday Party and it turned out great! She did so good on all the decorations to make her very first birthday the very best she could! I love you Brooklyn Lea Wood and life is such a BIGGER BLESSING with you in it!

When Brooklyn was down we did Christmas with her, Neta, and Mimi! Aunt Vern let Brooklyn open a present early and Caden enjoyed himself as well!

When Caden was a little over 4 months I wanted to try him with a spoon so we tried some applesauce! We of course snapped some cute photos. I know you are suppose to start with rice cereal, this was just a one time thing for now!

David and I got there at 4am and we were this far back! We had fun though!

Thanksgiving!

Sorry this post is so late!
This Thanksgiving like those passed I had a LOT to be thankful for! But I must say more so this year than most! God is so good! Can I get an AMEN?! I mean he took this 15 year old girl that was scared and afraid that she would never have children and ten years later gave her the biggest blessing of all!!! My Caden Lane BUG!! My life has never been more full! My cup runith over!! Thank you Jesus for the gift of our son, for David, my family, church, life group, friends, my career, each breath and heartbeat for our next is not guaranteed! I never knew this kind of LOVE!
We started Thanksgiving off with lunch with David's family and Dinner here at the house with Dad and Jane and her familia! A blessing it all was! We missed you Mom and Papa Jerry and the rest of the family!! A few days prior someone mentioned these words, I'll leave you to ponder them and hope every ones Thanksgiving was a Blessing as well!

What would you do if one day you woke up and all you had were the things you THANKED GOD for??.....

4 month check up

Caden had his 4 month check up today! He is growing like a weed! I'm so afraid to close my eyes for fear of him doing something cute that I will miss! He was quite the little trooper getting his shots! Here are some things about our Bug this month!

• He is 15 pounds 11 ounces
• 26 inches long
• His eyes are still baby blue! (my guess is they are NOT changing)
• Tonight he rolled over for the first time (tummy to back)
• He laughs out LOUD!
• He plays constantly with his hands
• He has discovered his ears
• He is still breast milk fed (also taking white grape and apple juice)
• He smiles so bright he warms my heart! I truly see God's LOVE in his smile!
• He is learning new "words" in his language
• I am almost certain he is teething!
• Everything goes straight to the mouth!
• He is the BIGGEST Blessing thus far!!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much Caden Lane! You are the joy of our life!!

4 months old!

Happy 4 months Caden Lane! Another month has gone by! It seems to be going by super fast! He is getting so big! He LOVES to play with his hands and chew on them! A few days ago he started sticking out his tongue! It is the cutest thing! We are so blessed to have him in our life! Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift! We go to the doctor on Monday so I will post stats then, but here are some pics of my bug until then!

Kinlee and Caden!

Today Stephanie, Kurtis and Addi came over for dinner and to play! Addi and Kinlee had a good time until Kinlee fell asleep on her! We ate tacos and watched Twilight and to my surprise I really enjoyed it! Next week New Moon! Here are the girls playing!

Play Date

Stephanie and Addison came over last Thursday afternoon for a play date! We had such a good time! We went to lunch, did a little shopping and Addi played with Caden! Can't wait until next time!
